Carchive is an iPhone app for keeping a car's service history, fuel, costs and documents, provided by Elaimy. This policy explains what happens to your information.

No account

You never sign up or sign in. There is nothing that identifies you.

Your data stays on your iPhone

Cars, services, fuel, expenses, income, trips, reminders, documents, inspection photos and receipts are stored only inside the app on your iPhone. They are included in your normal iCloud or computer backup of the device, which you control. Elaimy never receives any of it.

No network connections

The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code and does not send anything to Elaimy or to third parties. Receipt and odometer reading, interval suggestions and all calculations run on the device using Apple's on-device frameworks.

Permissions

• Camera: used only when you choose to photograph a receipt, a document or the dashboard.
• Photos: the system photo picker hands over only the images you choose.
• Notifications: used for the reminders you set up. They are scheduled on the device.
• Face ID: used only if you turn on the app lock. Apple handles the check; the app never sees your face data.

Backups, reports and sharing

Backup files, spreadsheets, PDF reports and car history files are created only when you ask, and go only where you choose to send them, for example by AirDrop, Mail or the Files app.

Purchase

Carchive is a paid app sold by Apple on the App Store. Payment is handled by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policy. Elaimy does not receive your payment details.

Deleting your data

Use Settings → Delete all data in the app, or delete the app. There is no server copy to delete.

Children

Carchive is not directed to children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, Elaimy will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
